Selected for the M4 and Mk18 carbines by the U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM) after winning the most rigorous and extensive suppressor testing ever conducted, this Surefire unit also received the SOCOM official safety verification in support fielding. (Holy moly!) The 556 RC2 also produces minimal, repeatable point-of-impact shift, granting the shooter consistency while in use.

Designed for military use, this silencer offers a compact (6.2in) and lightweight (17 ounces) option in the 5.56mm rifle category. Constructed with an advanced combination of stainless steel and Inconel 718, the durability of this can will never be an issue. In fact, depending on usage, the suppressor should outlast the host barrel. Being a fast-attach unit merely adds to its ease and convenience of attachment/removal when in the field or at the range.
