LMT has been providing our NATO ally, Estonia with small arms for the last few years, and now the civilian version of the rifle is available, in limited edition. This rifle utilizes the LMT Monolithic Rail Platform (MRP) upper receiver, with the newer M-LOK design. This design is CNC machined out of a single forged aluminum billet, the highest military aerospace quality. The MRP upper receiver allows for barrel swap, using proprietary LMT barrels or barrel nuts.
This weapon features 5.56 NATO Chrome-Moly Vanadium 1:7″ RH twist cryogenically treated chrome-lined barrel with the LMT Gen2 piston bolt carrier group. The barrel is 14.3" with a pinned and welded flash hider that will support a Gemtech or GSL suppressor. This EDF rifles includes a single position piston setting, a bayonet lug, and a European-style trigger that allows the operator to put the rifle in the safe position when the hammer is uncocked. Furthermore, shot counters have been installed into a new LMT ergonomic grip
This is a limited edition collector's item and a high performance weapon, which you would expect from LMT.
The latest LMT international contract weapon is now available to the US commercial market.
