Utilizing the LMT® patented Monolithic Rail Platform, MRP™. The receiver and handguard are made from a single piece of aerospace grade aluminum. The barrel is held in place with a proprietary locking system that utilizes two locking bolts accessible from the right side of the receiver. The only tool needed is a standard T-30 Torx bit to tighten the bolts. This receiver requires the patented LMT monolithic barrel assembly which has a low profile gas block with straight gas tube.
The Specwar upper receiver has 17″ of uninterrupted 1913 picatinny rail on the 12 o’clock position, while the remaining 7 sides provide M-LOK compatible attachment points.
The MARS-L ambidextrous lower receiver features our AXLE two-stage trigger, winter trigger guard, endplate with QD swivel point, LMT® ergonomic textured grip, and SOPMOD stock. The ambidextrous features include bolt catch and release, magazine catch, and safety selector. As with all LMT® lower receivers, the extension tube is coated with dry film lubricant.
This weapon system comes complete with magazine, owner’s manual, and 3 rail panels.
