The Griffin Armament MK1 AR-15 Stripped Lower Receiver is a solid beginning to any build. These lowers are constructed from 7075-T6 aluminum with a type III anodized hard coat finish for durability and offer high quality features. This Griffin Armament receiver boasts a strong trigger guard machined into the lower for optimal durability. The performance of your rifle will be enhanced with the reinforced pivot pin and magazine well to aid in loading. Purchasing a stripped lower leaves many tasks to complete before your firearm is fully operational and this lower is no different. To further customized the operation of the rifle you must install a fire control group. This lower has a fire control group pocket cut and fire control group holes drilled. You need to select and install a trigger pin, hammer pin, trigger slot and safety selector to complete the lower receiver. It truly leaves you with a lot of options to customize and design the firing capabilities of your new AR.
